Meet Philip & Dinisha Merwood
Phil and Dini Merwood are the owners of Success Tutoring Lower Hutt and parents of young children themselves. They understand that every child learns differently, and that confidence and academic progress go hand in hand.
Phil holds a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce and Administration and has over 15 years of experience working in the technology and IT industry. Dini is a Chartered Accountant with over 14 years’ professional experience across Australasia and the APAC region.
As hands-on owners they bring structure, consistency, and strong systems to how the centre is run. This ensures tutors are well supported, progress is clearly tracked, and students are motivated and encouraged to reach their potential in a supportive learning environment.
Phil was born and raised in Lower Hutt, and together they are excited to open Success Tutoring in the community they proudly call home. Outside the centre, Phil and Dini enjoy spending time with their children, family, and friends, and being actively involved in the local community.
